C2 Launches Your Child Talking

In response to the many questions Lori received about the development of child language and the unique challenges that children with special needs and there parents face, Lori has launched the site Your Child Talking. Your Child Talking (YCT) is a site devoted to speech and language enrichment through a parent-to-parent dialogue that turns clinical information into fully accessible and easily readable blog posts.

YCT features updates several times a week on a variety of speech and language topics as well as a blogroll for parents to connect with other parents, and resources for additional learning.

C2 to Present at SHRM

Lori will be a presenter at the Society for Human Resource Managers’ (SHRM) annual convention in Las Vegas this June. Lori will be presenting, “Use the Expertise Without Losing the Client,” a short course on effective communication and customer interface in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment. This course will be offered for continuing education credit to the attendees and is part of SHRM’s global workforce strategic initiative.
